After School: Creative Writing with Ms. Mehta

Join us for an after-school creative writing enrichment class designed just for middle school students who love stories, imagination, and self-expression! In this workshop-style class, students will explore fun writing strategies, experiment with different genres, and learn how authors bring ideas to life on the page. Writers will be encouraged to continue developing their pieces on their own between sessions, and each class will include time to share writing, give and receive feedback, and celebrate each other's creative growth. Whether you're new to writing or already filling notebooks at home, this class is a place to build skills, confidence, and community as a writer. Students will need to bring their own notebook to this class.

*Classes will be held Mondays after school in room 265 with Ms. Mehta from 2:50-3:50 pm

*7 class sessions will be held 1/12, 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/23, 3/2, 3/9 (no class 1/19 or 2/16) 

*Cost: $210

*Open to all current Stone Valley students grades 6-8

*Class size: min 5 / max 15

*Class subject to cancellation if minimum participation is not met. Enrollment is open 12/1-1/9 or until class is filled.
